Cousin has to self quarantine.. Went to some deal in conference in New Orleans and I guess someone had it there.. No symptoms yet, so not sure..

If Mardi Gras brought it then it’s just now hitting “testable symptoms.” It takes about 5-7 days for symptoms to start to show, and then another week or so before they get bad enough to require hospitalization, if it’s going to get that bad.
So these cases are probably the first batch of bad Mardi Gras cases.

You also have the people who travel during Mardi Gras. So they are getting back from all over the country, not necessarily from high risk areas.

Viruses In general don’t like warm temperatures or sunlight. The early tests from China indicated this virus was particularly susceptible to both.
Hopefully, Spring and Summer weather will squash this thing sooner than if it hit in early December.

After being at a conference with people from all over I’m leaving a county in Florida that has several cases and flying back home into Nola which has several cases
