I hope he gets a good education but I fear he won't. I think he would learn more at Baton Rouge High for 4 years

Congrats to this young man.

And you’ll be calling him “boss,” “sir,” or similar.
If the seniors from Southern that I took geotech over the summer with several years ago were any indication, highly unlikely.
ETA: This is obviously a nice accomplishment for the young man, but he likely can do much better than Southern.

I’m pretty sure most 11 year olds could maintain a 3.0 at Southern

That’s great. Good for that young man.
Seriously, if he is intelligent and competent he should go to a real college. What is the point of wasting your supposed "talent" at SU?

Good for that young man. Serious question though, if you were that smart why would you go to Southern?

Forget that it’s Southern. What’s wrong with just letting this kid grow up? I’d like to see what percentage of these child prodigies that go to college when they aren’t 10 end up being normal, well functioning adults

That’s not really much of an accomplishment
I don't care what university it is, the fact he is 11 years old. If he wants, he can go get a degree at Southern, graduate with a bachelors while most of the kids his age is still in HS.. Then go to another university, two years earlier than most kids his age... And then go from there.

Sure, he graduated at 15 but at 25 he will be a 25 year old with a degree from Southern.
I'm sure at 25 he'll have multiple degrees

I just googled "youngest person to graduate college.
This kid was 10 years old when he graduated.
Check out what he was doing at 4 months old..
