Maybe he is not ready to live away from his parents, he may be a genius, but he still has the emotional maturity of a typical 11 year old. Normal kids his age sometimes are sent to boarding schools, but rarely is it a good idea.

Why not to go a more prestigious school? It seems like the parent are hurting him more than helping him. He could have finished a normal school and gotten a full ride anywhere at this rate.

What does someone do after graduating college at 14/15? Most jobs that involve more than manning the concession stand at the pool require you to be 18 to work.
