Slight trick that was just recently implemented:
If you have a car with HD radio, use 98.1 and use station 2. It never crackles and is awesome.

Awful reception especially this week.
First of all, 104.9 is New Orleans. 104.5 is Baton Rouge. SO before you bitch out the station, at least have it on the right channel in the right city. Having said that, reception was horrible yesterday. Today is better though.

Im just saying. Its not New Orleans. Both 104.9 and 104.5 serve the Baton Rouge metro area.

That's not what they advertise on the air. They say 104.5 BR and 104.9 NO.

When the station first went on air they were only 104.5 and the 104.5 tower is up in Jackson, La facing away from Baton Rouge. The station always had issues so they kicked country legends off the air and took over 104.9 whose tower is in Donaldsonville. That's always been a stronger signal. But they're still having issue. Both stations were unlistenable last night.

Well, i dont know why they would advertise that. The towers are in Jackson,la and Donaldsonville,la. I drive to New Orleans regularly and on a good day 104.9 gets me to the spillway. Have never picked it up in New Orleans.

You're wrong. The ESPN BR station of 104.5/104.9 has nothing to do with New Orleans. Moscona's show is simulcast on 100.3 New Orleans which is Nola's ESPN station.
