A thrill ride took a terrifying turn when a child slipped out of his harness and fell to the floor. The accident happened on Sept. 1 at Urban Air Trampoline and Adventure Park in Lakeland. Investigators say this time the harness was not properly secured. The report states the child’s leg straps were not buckled, leaving him holding on with his arms until he lost his grip The child’s family has filed a lawsuit, alleging the accident was the result of operator error. According to the lawsuit filed in Polk County, the family claims the child fell "more than 20 feet" and suffered "significant injuries.".
He is about to get paid. I hope main event employees in Baton Rouge don’t make the same mistake.

I feel 30ft out a tree climber.

Always strap yourself in baws.

Nasty fall and I pray the kid is ok. That said, that was absolutely not a 20ft fall

Hopefully he is ok and then his story will be better than hundreds of Zipline stories...

I'm sure the maintenance crew was tedious about checking the ride daily.

Easily looks 20 feet. Dont let the angle fool you. Look how long it takes him to hit the ground when he comes loose from the harness

Geez kids these days are such pussies. I used to zipline off a 30 ft cliff in the woods as a kid it was nothing but a rope and a straight bar on a pulley you hang from. No harness or anything. Learn to hold on

They didn't strap him in, he was just holding on. It says it right in the first post
