ok so you are approximately .0001% of the sample. 50% of people your age have saved $17k or less.

You mean the same taxes that everyone else paid as well?

The average millennial is much more educated and makes much better financial decisions than the average Boomer.

I'm glad you have been successful. Seriously I am, and I wish everyone was as responsible as you, but Boomers ignorance and flat out discredit of the truth is surreal.

I’d like to see the numbers on millennial home ownership. I bet that’s way way down. Then I bet there is a spike in mid late 30s when student loans are coming off the ledger

I don’t own a home and have no plans to soon.. I checked my mint.com today and it was at $370k in 401k, brokerage and bank. I have a roommate. Too cheap to have cable. Avocado toast is life. Millenials af

This is of course due in large part to the economy the past few years

It's generally defined as people born after 1980 or 1981 so 37 isn't far fetched. That would be the oldest millennials.

i know A LOT of people who lived with their parents for a year or two after graduating and bought a house... i can't hate on that

i also know a lot of people who are 22-25 and have never left home, but have nothing to show for it

Then maybe they should think about working on paying off that $1.2 trillion in student debts.

I would put the cutoff at born in ‘83 or so. Just by my observations of two siblings born in ‘81 and ‘85.

Boomers will still get social security and pensions. Millenials, probably neither.
