Very sad what that city has become

I agree. Back in the 1980s New Orleans was a beautiful city where you could go on nice long moonlit walks in pretty much any part of town. I miss those days a lot smh.

there's a homicide in nola every day. so............in terms of mass shootings, if you calculate on every sunday for the entire week, they average about 6 per week.

No suspects, no motive. NOPD is putting their time in on this one. Wait never mind.

Right. I miss those moonlit walks through the Desire housing project back in the 80’s. Hanging out with my brothers and sisters sipping on a cold Colt 45. Seriously though, New Orleans has pretty much been a killing field since the early 90’s apart from a little reprieve after Katrina. No one seems to have the will to do anything to make it better.

Same exact body count as the backyard shooting in Chicago a couple of days ago. Only difference is a 9 year-old child wasn’t killed.

Back in the 50’s and early 60’s men used to wear suits and woman dresses to go to Canal Street and the Quarter.
Now you have to wear a bullet proof vest and get out before sundown.
The place is disgusting.

Then I realized the day and time it happened and did some digging. Looks like it was a special event

What was the event?
Reddit is saying it was a rap series called “Church on Sundaze”

More people in Nola injured/killed in one night than Iran launching 300 ballistic missiles at Israel over the weekend.

Now take into account that Chicago has 6.5x the population as New Orleans.
