Yeah the front is moving through 30A now, just mild thunderstorms really. Was close to 75 earlier in the day so not surprised we’re seeing some severe stuff pop up.

But it looks like that line from I10 NE into Alabama and SW Georgia is looking dicey.

i'm jealous...i haven't come across them "in the wild" yet

Yeah, they're cool to see. I thought they were geese until I got the binoculars, they sound similar. There's no way I could get close enough for a good pic. They're out in the field after all this rain. They had been staying in a field just down the road the past few years, this is the first time I've noticed them in those numbers where they are now.

i hope you're feeling better...it sucks to be sick when it's cold...take care!

Thanks! The fever broke, haven't had one in nearly 36 hours. Still coughing up junk and it doesn't feel good. At least the roads should be okayish if I need a doc tomorrow.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen this much sleet. I may not be able to leave the parents house until Tuesday. Since they live on the county line, I swear Little Rock hardly ever come out this way to clear the roads.

I got mail delivered yesterday. Here in Bella Vista they plow the main roads and then get the small roads. My road won't get plowed until it is melting. I prefer they don't do my road being they put sand on it after plowing and the sand gets everywhere. My wife found a picture of 10" of snow we got back on January 25th of 2023.

There’s a shelter in place order for Oxford

Daughter goes to Ole Miss. She and her friends took off to a beach house in Destin to escape the ice storm.

I heard there were videos of someone pulling a couch behind a side x side thru the square last night in Oxford. Anyone have the video?

I think it’s worse here than even Oxford.

I have poles down everywhere on the farm

There’s so many downed poles and lines on every county road and highway here, gonna take forever to get it all fixed

Delta and Mr Roboto will be in every weather thread pretending like they have a clue what they are talking about. Both are idiots.

I didnt read much of this thread, but TDsNGumbo is usually a staple as well. He is just more of an attention whore though. Not quite on the level of the previous two.

Which is where, exactly?

There's inches of snow and ice on the ground where I'm at... and 60 miles to the south a friggin' ice storm... not so much a nothing burger... brah.
