Why doesn’t Africa, Middle East, or Latin America have any weather models?

Either tonight's model runs or the 1s in the morning will have the information the plane crew finds which should hopefully answer some of the forecast questions

Where do you go to see these when they come out?

I have a weather guru living in one of my guest bedrooms for awhile. They provided me with this up to date precipitation map earlier this afternoon. Plan accordingly.

I'm seeing we have a 35.0% chance of pasketti

Because the forecast is either desert or tropical rain forest. If you live in either, you know what tomorrow’s weather, and every day, will be.

He’s talking about a separate system that’s over week away. He’s given up on this weekends system and is looking for his next “weather high”

To be fair, it's not a one off. Models have been showing something for next weekend for over a day now. Maybe not that exact solution with 3-6" of snow in south la, but there seems to be a favorable setup for more chances of winter weather in the deep south after this mess moves through this weekend.

I'm sure he is just drunk and excited about the potential snow. I know I would be.

Sure but a model showing a snow storm for Louisiana a week out is like saying that a model is showing a hurricane coming to Louisiana a week out. How many times does a model verify that far out? Could it happen sure but it’s not worth mentioning over a week out.
