Monday I went to a non- DMV provider authorized to issue real ID. Don't knnow if Texas has those. Took all of 10 minutes.

They'll give you a warning when you go through security, but you'll still be able to get through.

Oddly enough, they accept your costco card along with your non-RealID license at airport security if you don't have RealID.. You should be fine.

it used to work like a well oiled machine until Covid and the "gold star" debacle, seems to have straightened out a bit, just renewed by mail and it's good till '33, last time I had to go in was for the gold star treatment, that was painful
