Minus 19 here...sun won’t be up for several hours. Real men walk to work in this weather. Hate the wear and tear it does to the snowmachine when it’s this cold. Lol

serious question, why the hell would you want to live in that for like 6 months out of the year. F that.

People look forward to it here. When the lake freezes it’s like a highway opening up. Able to get out on snow machines, fat tire bikes, skis, etc. I don’t care for it when it’s windy, but other than that it’s really not too bad.

I’m terrified of walking outside to garage and starting my car since (poor, nonautomatic car starter).
Frost bite time is 15 min, which mean you can loose a finger Without gloves real quick
Sounds like a great work from home day.

The only way I'd deal with that shite is if I got to ski every day

Skiing in -30 weather would suck though

It's lived on Big Lake for a year, it kicked arse.

Definitely, but I'd gladly take -10 to 20 (sunny) days throughout winter with the occasional stay-the-frick-in day.

It blew my mind to wear a t-shirt and light pants in 30 degree weather and feeling comfortable.

When the wind chill drops the temp below 0 there really isn't a whole to do outdoors.

Getting snowed in on a weekend is one of life's simple pleasures.

I'll take -30 over 98° and 89% humidity any day of the week

If the wind isn't blowing, you can dress warmly and never be uncomfortable.

Wind is my bane.

I like cold weather but that's pretty brutal. I spent a week in Nebraska years ago and a few days it was -20 and it was pretty miserable.

Sorry, but that just isn't so. No such thing as bad weather, just bad gear. The only issue I have is my fat tire bike grease gels at around -12 to -15. I am either going to change it out this summer to the greaseless bearings or go with a version that's rated to -40.
