I’m terrified of walking outside to garage and starting my car since (poor, nonautomatic car starter).
Frost bite time is 15 min, which mean you can loose a finger Without gloves real quick. [/img]

Temp dropped 20 degrees last night. It's 52 this morning. Had to break out a light sweater.

The only way I'd deal with that shite is if I got to ski every day. Absent being a bum at a resort, you can take those temperatures and shove them up your frozen arse.

Me and the wife hate it here. Winter is brutal but summer is nice in Minnesota . We live here because I get paid well. We will be moving down south (anywhere south, even Alabama or any shothole in MS) when we get a chance.

I'd prefer to not live in either extreme but still have some seasons.

A company is Wayzeta is looking at buying our company. I sure hope they don't summon us to the home office for a visit anytime soon.

E TN/ W NC has the best weather in the country and no one can convince me otherwise.

Are y'all from the South? I'd imagine that is quite the adjustment.

This is probably the 2nd or 3rd day this winter that it’s been this cold. Yeah it sucks, but so does 60-80 consecutive days of blistering, humid, stifling heat down south. Summers here are unbeatable. Spring will be here in no time....

Another bonus of being here...you can walk out of any public place without the guarantee of being begged for money.

It's more consistent, but I'm with fall_guy and agree that seasons are preferable to extremes...or too much moderation.

I grew up in Louisiana and TX. Wife is from Lebanon. First time seeing snow when I moved to MN few years ago. Just a shitty state, 12% state taxes, cold, food is terrible. Louisiana is 10x better.

If you enjoy a little cold weather and snow, sure. But it’s hard to argue that weather like San Diego wouldn’t get old ever. It just stays between 55-80 year round .

Edit: Id prefer what you said over Louisiana though, personally. I cant stand the summers here. Still better than -30 though..
