Worse than the questions are the TV screens with audio.

You can mute these.

Usually, if you press the second button down on the right side of the screen it will mute.

Then let your boyfriend fill up the tank.

Just make sure to give him your husband's credit card.

You must drive a hybrid and never have to fill your car.

They have just as many questions now and started their a rewards program.

The rewards are meh. After 100 points (1 point per gallon) you get 10 cents off per gallon for up to 20 gallons. So you save 2 dollars after spending about 200-250 dollars depending on the price of gas.

If you go to MAPCO for a fill up. Be sure to take a recliner and a good book.

This is true. I’ve been a victim of this once and heard other people say the same thing especially at Shell. I always use credit when filing up.

Speak yourself. Us offshore baws would prefer the prices to be a bit higher

Not to mention you are buying gas no matter what. Why would you not use a credit card that gets some type of rewards?

The worst is when Kroger asks if you want to pay $5 extra to add a “mileage booster” to your fuel.

Anyone who falls for that deserves to lose their $5.

Not necessarily. I've seen some additives pay for themselves easily

Doesn’t really save much time.

Half the time there’s a line that takes a couple minutes AND they make me take out two cards and swipe them both.

Ain’t got time fa dat

You don't like 3% cash back on purchases? Damn, you're dumb.

I hate using a CC at any checkout counters now days. You have to answer 100 questions just to give the store money.

Went to a newly renovated Murphy's last week. Put my card in. Asked if wanted receipt, then remove nozzle and select grade. I noticed that the cheapy price was 2.28gal. So I grab the nozzle next to the diesel, push the button were the low octane, cheap stuff is, and the thing reads 2.63. I touch the 2.28 button, no luck. I go wtf. Cancel try again, same thing as above. I back off, look the pumps over and lo and behold, Murphy's has un-ethanol now. I had the un-ethanol pump. The cheapy pump was on the other side of the face of the pump.

I would but the lines to the pumps remind me of the 70's. I swear if Costco was open 24 hours the pumps would still be busy at 2 am.
