why do you think he is lazy or distracted?

Seconded. His comeback and work ethic in practice during October/November and freshman/sophomore campaigns say otherwise.

He dominates college his sophmore year

He has shown he can work hard. Injuries derailed him this year

It’s just a classic case of decency bias and assumptions.

Wait till the combine.

Doesn't matter if ya want Arden key or not for the saints. Saints don't draft Lsu players and have not for past decade in the draft at least. Last two fantastic edge rushers coming out of lsu have not been mentioned much if any at all. Sam Montgomery and his buddy didn't do much in the pros. I believe Arden key will be a star where ever he lands. Hope he has a bright future

Haven't seen enough consistent output from him to warrant a 1st rounder. If by some quirk he fell to a later round, then yes.

Based on where we draft, absolutely.

I would be wary of drafting him if we were around 10 again.

He's not gonna be there.

That's it.

15 sacks in 19 games as Soph/JR

Cam Jordan had 14 sacks in 18 games this year, for reference.

He wasn’t even close to the same player this season that he was as a Sophomore. He regressed.

Not sure if it was laziness or weed, but he completely took “off”-season quite literally and came back fat and in terrible shape. He’d be great if we could snag him late, as I do believe he’s a top 10 talent. Just depends on if he gets his head together or not.

He looked like the old Key once he started to lose weight. He had 4 sacks in 6 SEC games

lol@littlematt. He only hurt himself. I could give a shite he showed instability and lack of character after one amazing year at LSU. I hope he turns it around and has a great NFL career but Tigers rarely change their stripes. downnvote away

No; I hope the draft goes like last year's, and the highest rated O Lineman drops down again. Would take THAT in a heartbeat.

Other than that, I would say corner or safety. Corner, because despite Crawley's effort, it would be amazing to see another stud opposite Lattimore. Imagine the defense if we'd have taken Tre White also.

Safety- NOT because of Williams; because of Von Bell.
If Vaccaro is out there instead of Bell, then William's mistake is covered. Bell can blitz and hit, but he doesn't cover the field well. He's like Harper was, and the game is going away from that.

At pick 27? Yes.

Pass rushers are hard to come by. He'd be worth the risk at 27.

I really wouldn’t mind O line depth at all. I wouldn’t want to go safety because I don’t think Bell is a complete bust. I think we need to pack weight on him and walk him down more into Vaccaro’s role. His coverage skills are limited, but Williams makes up for them.

I think Crawley took a huge step forward this season. He’s obviously not as good as Lattimore, but he held his own and played well all season. He’s still very young and will only get better.

I’d like to see us go TE/Pass Rusher, LB, OL, DL, and then depth in the Secondary.
