Nobody would give up a 2025 7th for MT and eat that contract for his recent availability. Untradeable, not to mention we’d have to cut several players to eat the cap that comes due.

Thomas has not been traded to this point due to him not being on the field. If he were playing last year from the start he was gone before the deadline. There's no fair value for him when he's hurt all the time.
