Wrong. Barkley would be lucky to have a Reggie Bush type career. He won’t crack the top 5 backs in the NFL.

Amazing that you know what Barkley's future holds. Also, you're the only one that I've ever heard that isn't wowed by him. Everyone else is all in on him, including all of the experts and analysts. He's been pretty unanimously named as a once in a decade talent at RB. But since you don't like him, I guess I won't draft him on my fantasy team.

we have not needed to overpay for RBs; why start now??

What do you consider overpay for a person of MI's talents in today's NFL?

Is that why a RB was taken second overall this last draft?

Adding to the discussion, I think Terrance West is the poor mans Mark Ingram. I think he will do well here if given the opportunity. Furthermore, we've got a knack for finding UDFA running backs prior to drafting Mark in 2011. However, thats not something you can really depend on

Okay how about a Rb taken in the top ten in the last four consecutive drafts. Including 2 last year.

and 6 taken in the top ten in the last nine drafts

All seem to overlook the early years of under production. Had a great contract year of course & playing against competition now. West will be ok & the rookie is going to surprise many imo. Trade would be best for the team; add draft picks for next year, stay young & build the foundation on the youth. Thanks for your your service MI, but you have been traded to.......

things have been said about a lot of players, every so often it pans out that way.

Remember how amazing Reggie Bush was supposed to be?

Terrance West to Mark Ingram is comparing an electric scooter to a motorcycle. Other than 2 wheels, they do not compare.

It’s crucial that we sign him. Bree’s will be leaving sooner than later, so we won’t be paying big money to a QB soon...freeing up cap space. With a very unpredictable passing attack in the future, we need to ensure that we still keep the #1 backfield. It’s the only cure for inexperienced QB play.

It would be cool if we could throw him a 2 year deal thats fair to him, but Im sure he wants a stable 4 year deal. Idk Im okay either way honestly.
