He has a 91 overall grade from PFF. Not saying I want him but it’s such a bullshite post tbh. I expect better from you.

There isn’t an elite QB in this draft

What is your rationale here?

None of the QBs are worth it and Loomis isn’t smart enough to realize no QB prospect will be set up for success with this roster. The smart thing to do is to trade down. Mickey hasn’t been smart lately.

Better to take that decision out of his hands and give the Saints the 3-5 pick so the best prospects will be gone. And they’ll be forced to just take BPA. Outside of Ward and Sanders, there’s not really a QB worth taking in Round 1. I haven’t even seen Beck mocked in the first lately.

I’m with you now. Would you take Hunter with #1 or trade back?

Been a Saints fan for almost 40 years.

They’ll trade the top pick for draft capital that they’ll trade away plus next years 1st to move up two spots for an oft injured project from a directional school that most had projected as a 4th rounder at best.

This is and has been a terrible franchise. The Brees years were the exception.

If Cam Ward was good enough for the NFL he'd be in the NFL today.

He's only run gimmick offenses his entire career.

His mechanics are bad.

His physical ability is also overrated by many.

People will argue that Burrow/Daniels making this huge leap, but they had literal historic seasons. Ward is playing well on a super talented team in a shite conference who has gotten insane positive variance (and help from the refs). His year is nowhere in the class of 2023 JD or 2019 Burrow.

Honestly the QB group this year sucks. None of them are first round worthy. Go with Travis Hunter.

I mean I’m not arguing for him. It just seems like you haven’t done nearly the research on this guy like you have in the past to be making broad proclamations that he’s an automatic bust.

QBs aren’t capable of progressing? That’s your reasoning? And he has bad mechanics? That can’t be coached? lol I’d argue he ran a pretty gimmicky offense at Wazzu but Miami doesn’t seem that way. I don’t want us to take him either but not for the same reasons. This is pretty low effort for you. Matching the Saints energy I guess

There is not a QB in this draft worth picking number one...it's a no brainer to trade the pick

We are tanking in a season where nobody coming out of college is worth tanking for. It’s called Loomising.

HUNTER

If we are stuck at 1, you draft Hunter. Reason i say stuck is that there is no franchise QB. JMO
Other than that, Hunter is an unbelievable talent and you get to use him in multiple ways. Who knows what happens with Adebo now, and if you trade ML, you need another CB. WE know we need another WR.

But first you trade Latt, Kamara, Young, let Loomis retire, fire Allen, get a new GM and HC.
