Why wouldn’t an NFL team be interested in using Tim Tebow in a Taysom Hill type role?

Because he wasn’t willing to play the role Taysom Hill plays.

Because Tebow was a good enough QB to win some games including getting your team in the playoffs on pure determination, but was never going to make it to the SB. Also, her refused to play any other position.

Basically.

He's also nowhere near as fast as Hill.

He'd have made a great TE who could run some incredible qb packages, but he refused anything other than QB.

It really is a shame. Everything he's doing now he could have just done after a decade in the NFL. Except maybe AA baseball.

Because he is not a good enough passer to be an NFL QB and he was unwilling to change positions to take advantage of his athletic ability.

Partially the kaepernick reason, partially that he wasn’t fast enough to play the Taysom role

Hill is a MUCH better passer than Tebow. Tebow would go entire practices without completing a single pass. Tebow—for all the love he gets for his character—wasn’t willing to humble himself and take on a Taysom Hill role.

The defense in Denver was dominating that was the only reason they made the playoffs and were in any position to win those games. There is a reason he never really played anywhere else.

Because Taysom Hill runs a 4.46 and Tebow runs a 4.75

big difference

Tebow was on 4 different teams. He def was not excluded for anything other than football reasons. He had more than his fair share of chances.

I expect Jalen Hurts to have a Taysom Hill-type role in the NFL, if a team is smart. That's about the only way he'll contribute significantly in the NFL, imo.

6-1, 218, 4.52 sp, adequate passer, capable runner with some elusiveness & strength. With Taysom's extensive injury history, it wouldn't be a bad backup plan even for the Saints should it be necessary one day.

Tebow wasn't an accurate passer and was not fast, more powerful then fast. Works in college but can't run over LB's and the NFL. Hill is a better athlete, much faster, just as powerful, seems to be a better passer.

People forget Hill was a beast at BYU. Just kept getting bad injuries.

Here of some highlights of him running for 260 against 15th ranked Texas.

Taysom runs a 4.42. Tebow does not.

Tebow can’t bull over guys like he did in college.
