Lester, I have to say, threads like these make me appreciate the smaller more fun disagreements we all share over silly sports.

You are fighting a good fight trying to explain to people why they should not be so critical of the process.

I've typed out a long response a few times, and then closed it...

We aren't going to change any minds, we are only arguing with people that will disappear from here the second this topic stops being so popular...

You are an appreciated and valuable contributor. Have a good night.

How is it relevant if a man and his wife go to a Strip Club after the French Quarter Fest but before dinner at Sake Cafe?

1. Court of public opinion.
2. Jury selection.
3. If alcohol involved may be in that vain relevant in a trial.

Fuller is doing his job as a defense attorney. Why is he the bad person here?

Well being a defense attorney naturally makes him a POS. For every 1 guy they get off who is innocent they get off 20 more who are not. Just part of the job description I guess.

So we should lock up everyone accused of something? What's the alternative?

Shouldn't you be the one showing the law mate?

And since you like to misread post s like this: I'm not saying you're wrong. Burden of proof is on you.

You absolutely can not bring your gun into an actual bar in Louisiana

Off duty officers can, and concealed carry permit holders can bring them in a restaurant now as long as majority of money is on food sales

In no way can you bring it into an actual bar

Lester. Since we have the Smiths evening pretty much mapped out to nauseating detail, can you break down what Hayes and his buddy were up to that night?

Article today says he got a beard trim earlier in the night and called some friends to tell them about a party uptown that he was going to stop by and report back on a few minutes prior to the shooting

Interesting.

I would think a guy as focused on justice as you are would have at least brought this issue up. You didn't need any media reports to suggest Smith was stalking Hayes, brandished a gun, and was intoxicated so you clearly have info that the rest of us don't have.

Since you know Hayes personally, why don't you spill it?
