Give Rodgers a 1-year with some of Carr’s money. Gives KM and Shough time to get settled before they’re thrown in the fire. Hell you might even win the division

We do not have a championship roster. I guess you have to bring in a FA QB to keep up appearances, but I'd rather see if Shough has got it or not. We're probably picking high next season anyway, might as well put it on the line. We either win with the kid because he's legit, or we get a shot at the big name guys next draft.

If you think you can have a winning season with your other pieces, then you bring in a vet and give your rook a year to sit and develop.
However, Saints Talk overwhelmingly believes this year's a 'tank' year. If that's really the case, which is debatable, then you save your money and ride with what you have.

You need to put on your favorite Jedi outfit, go to the entrance door the players use at this year's camp. Wave your arms in magical ways and state to each as they walk in..."you will play like sh!t and lose every game". Cause that's the only way players who's every single play is a resume for the next year or next job will willingly tank.

Or we destroy his career right out the gate. He is still a rookie and not a top 5 or so pick. There aren’t many of them that work out either. We are not in a great spot at QB.

Kellen Moore is the only Veteren QB we need. Teach these youngsters the system and see what they can do. This isn’t a playoff or bust year and a good time to start filling the pieces around the future QB. No matter who that might be.

Coming out the gate I'd expect our OL to be healthy. Give Rattler his deserved and earned shot behind a healthy OL. Then judge.
