If it is not defense then they are tanking for next years draft, for a QB. They have to spend at least 4 picks, hopefully early, on D. We are in a very tight spot that it doesnt seen is being realized.

They ain’t tanking for a qb. If they were they would have not drafted a wr at pick 8

I personally want R Mason Thomas. Position of need, good fit in the defense as a speed rusher, and good production in the SEC.

Keionte Scott or Treydan Stukes to play the star would be nice.
Maybe Zion Young or Cashius Howell for the edge if they get to us.
Smartest pick might be Bisontis or Pregnon to take the Ruiz spot.
Would not touch McCoy. Don't love the other CBs Hood and Cisse either, but I'd defer to the Saints eval. No to any LB, not a need.

“Would not touch McCoy.”

I get the concern, but let’s say he falls. About where in the draft does he become worth the injury risk? Late second? Middle of R3?

I don't see him getting past the middle of the 2nd round and wouldn't be surprised if he's taken early today. I would live the Saints to get him as a 3rd round pick though! I'm hoping the Saints grab a CB or Edge. Kind of annoyed KC jumped us for Delane, but excited about what Tyson can do to our O with Etienne on board now too.

CB Keionte Scott Miami - probably more of a slot DB, but had 64 tackles and has a nose for the ball.

DE - quite a few good ones still on the board: Howell/TAM, Young/Mizzu & Jacas Ill.

We'll see what is still available at that 10th pick.

either get the best available on the defensive interior or go for best available in in the secondary

The safety out of Toledo is a real ball. hawk he could be a good get

You take him off the board. He missed last season and now needs a second knee surgery.

By the time he heals, it’ll be three years since he played

I’d gamble on him in the third. That’s where Revel went last year and he’s a better prospect.

I’d take Zion if he’s there and look to trade up back to the bottom of the 2nd if Scott or Stukes starts to fall.

Wow, completely off? It must be bad. Otherwise, it’s hard to imagine him being more of a coin flip than an average sixth rounder and his upside is huge.

This but I don’t think Zion will be there. I think it will be Gabe Jacas. Trade back up for Scott at the end of the round

Jacob Rodriguez

Eta: Or AJ Haulcy.

Ik we need corner though. I’d be happy with Ponds or Scott.
