re: Who do you NOT want to see Saints draft?

I don’t really like any of the first round defensive ends to be honest. They all scare me and have been mocked all over the first. If one of those fell to the second then I would be ok with it. I don’t really like any of the defensive tackles in the first either. Would hate a running back or 2nd tier qb.

I understand the skepticism with Mac Jones, but you seriously wouldn't take Kyle Trask? The only reason he's not projected higher by "experts" is due to his lack of mobility, which I feel is way overblown. Trask moves well enough in the pocket to avoid pressure and to escape if needed. Dude has intangibles, size, arm strength, accuracy, anticipation and ball placement skills that every team looks for in a QB.

We have a QB do u really think any of the QB left over when we pick will be better than Winston? How bout Hill? I don’t think so.
We need defensive help and a lot of it. The only offensive player we should think bout taking after the 1st round would be O-line. Second 3rd rounder I would be happy with a wide-out.
Of coarse all this is based on if nothing crazy happens and someone falls in our lap that was supper high on our board.

I don't know why, but something about Kadarius Toney just screams bust to me
he can get in and out of his breaks at an elite level but he could be a lot like some of the Mobile area guys who can't stay out of trouble when the enter the league.
Nick Fairley, Keith McCants, Jamarcus Russell to name a few.
Willie Anderson and Chris Samuels had solid careers and avoided trouble but I dunno i've seen plenty of guys not fair so well.
Leonardo Carson was another that comes to mind as a trouble maker.
Sherman Williams too

I think it Mac drops to the saints there’s a reason why picks 3-27 didn’t take him. So, why would the saints?
As for Trask, I like him over Mac but he’s still a statue in a league where a QB needs to scramble.
Give me a LB, CB, WR or DE in that order

Would absolutely melt if we took Trask, any rb, or interior OL in the 1st round

They better take defense in 1st. After that I’m ok going offense.

Agreed
There is a reason teams over draft QBs and by the time you get into the late first or second, the bust rate is incredible because they should be drafted much later.
The super athletic linebacker is also an issue for me in the first because so many of those bust as well. We have one of the prime examples in our past with Anthony.

Will post this here.

The Western Michigan receiver had a terrific pro day, which could vault him into Day 2. All three teams in question are desperate for a receiver (including the Bears, who may trade Anthony Miller.)
