We won’t have a 1st so it won’t be any of the top guys. My pick is Sam Hartman from Wake Forest. He’s not the biggest kid but I’ve watched a lot of his games and he just gives that winner vibe in the way he plays. He wouldn’t be a day 1 starter but you have Winston under contract for another year. Another guy I would watch to see how he develops this year is Hendon Hooker from Tennessee.

Myles Brennan

7th round or free agent.

Then it's almost assuredly a wasted pick

Only hope at getting a 1st is if a team trades for Payton’s rights.

Tom Brady was a 6th round pick. He’s the exception not the rule but it’s not impossible to find a good QB outside the 1st round. But it is a crapshoot.

Why would we draft a QB?

This was the main reason I did not like the trade with the Eagles. Next year's draft is supposed to be very QB heavy at the top and we send away our pick for a mid 1st rounder in a relatively weak draft at the top.

Garropolo

the only one worth anything on that list, and he has marginal value, at best

It's extremely difficult.

Look at all the starters in the NFL who weren't 1st round draft picks and then compare that to all the QBs drafted the past 10 years.

If you don`t have a Payton Manning or John Elway,Joe
Burreoux in the draft you are for the most part wasting
a 1st round pick.Sure there are exceptions to that ,A Rogers
P.Mahomes ,but for the most part it doesn`t work out.Go
look at history. The Saints are going to have to strike
black and gold in free agency.

He could start and win for us RIGHT NOW! What else is there to discuss?

With the way he handles the clock/game management, Denver may have an opening soon

Payton may love a few years with Wilson

Daniel Jones is an interesting one (Not saying I want him), can they still pick up his 5th year option.

A slightly better pick of QBs than was available last year, but still not someone I would want to risk my career (Referring to Allen's 2nd stint as HC) on trying to ride with. You really have to take a chance even in FA to strike gold, would think he has a longer leash with Winston and addressing in 2024 than trying to pay good money for one of these guys
