I believe the NFL and the NBA are in for a rude awakening when viewership numbers & game attendance get going again. They have definitely managed to piss off their biggest PAYING customer demographic. The manner in which they have alienated the culture and belief system of that demographic makes it likely many will not return. I for one will not be watching NBA or NFL anymore.
Friend that had $17k worth of Saints tickets for over 25-30 years cancelled their season tickets this past week. He also typically buys $10k in Pelicans. He is bailing on those too. His rep told him, they have been taking a beating. Lots of cancelations.
We will know soon enough, if this culture war will have an effect on things moving forward. Time will tell.

I didn’t have tickets to begin with, but from now on, if I watch games in the future, I will do so through illegal streams so they don’t get any revenue, whether it’s on my local broadcast or not.

My 2 were cancelled. Had them for 17 years. I ceel great about it as well. Also can elled nfl package on direct tv. I am done. I have a buddy who cancelled his 3 as sell. Bye bye kneelers

So did they give you a full refund? I’d like to cancel but I’ve paid both installments. Guess I’ll just sell them all on Seat Geek and try to make a profit off them. And cancel next yr.

I cancelled. Due to the disrespect and hate that the NFL players have for me being a white male. Covid had nothing to do with it.

Not tough at all. I enjoy my privilege every single day.
I will also use this privilege and not spend any money on the NFL this fall. If my nephews want jerseys for Christmas; I’ll order from China!

I also think letting someone else dictate what you enjoy is incredibly omega. We all know you’re going to come crawling back when all this passes over, like everything else does. The real test is when it gets bad enough they start blacking the game games out on tv so people have to go to the games if people go or stop watching period
