Gotta be OT there, right? So, of the likely OT available when we pick at 14, which is your most and least favorite? And why?

Images from The Ringer Big Board which has more detailed breakdowns as well.

I like Fashanu best at 14, because he seems more like a natural left tackle. I think the Saints could trade down 5-6 spots and still get quite a few of those guys.
Mims is intriguing.
I don’t have a least favorite. I just think some will be available in the 20’s and I don’t want to draft them too high. Would rather get them later and also get an extra late-round pick.

Just take the anti-Penning and they should be fine.

Penning and Mims in an ideal world living up to their talents would be nuts.

Trade down twice in first and get Mims RT.

Could work lol

...but if its a left tackle the Saints want at 14 Olu is hands down the best at pass protection.

I wouldn’t be able to pass on Latham. He has a higher ceiling than Alt imo. Fautanu is my favorite because of his character, athleticism, and versatility. I would avoid Mims at all costs, he hasn’t proven himself.

Not Mims his scouting report sounds too much like what they were saying about Penning and we all know that’s not working out

Mims is strictly a RT with the highest ceiling. Raw experience wise.

Mims would be a reach at 14 but any one of the others would be a solid pick.

Mins may turn out to be a boom pick, but we can’t take that chance after Penning. And I’d rather stay away from Latham. Dint trust him either.

I think the Oregon st tackle is the safest pick.

Mims seems to have the most bust potential, but a really high ceiling. I'd only want him in a trade down scenario. The other 4 are all fine with me. I'd probably rank Latham a rung below Olu and Fuaga. Fautanu might be the safest pick, but could end up at guard and I don't like the idea of picking a guard at 14.

Would be the first RT taken at 14.

Mims injury history is more concerning than his lack of reps. He’s had ankle injuries, which doesn’t bode well for a giant. He’s held his own against some good talent though, I think he ends up the best of the rest of the Ts if he stays healthy

Fashanu all day.

Saints should pray that he is there at 14.

This. I'm very worried he'll be gone at 14. He's clearly ahead of the rest of the pack imo
