Olave needs the help…as does the QB

As soon as he takes out his tampon.

who gives a shite? we aren't winning anything, so what's the rush?

I predict he will see the field.
For two games.
Then he will pull another hamstring.
It’s not like they should have not known that before the draft.

Idgaf about Jordyn fricking Tyson. Was a bad pick period. He will always be associated with Loomis who should never be allowed to select a draft pick again.

That’s what you want to happen?

Trade him right before the deadline to a Superbowl contending team in need of a WR.

AI to the rescue
AI Overview
Yes, New Orleans Saints wide receiver Jordyn Tyson’s hamstring injury can be managed and healed, though it requires a careful, patient rehabilitation process rather than a permanent surgical fix.
Injury Profile and Outlook
• The Injury: Tyson suffered a right hamstring strain during training camp in August 2026 after getting caught in an awkward position when his foot slipped and he was pushed from behind.
• Fixable vs. Career-Altering: Sports science and medical staff view hamstring strains as treatable and manageable tissue injuries rather than degenerative or career-ending structural conditions.
• Recovery Focus: Rehabilitation relies on controlling symptoms, restoring mobility, progressive eccentric hamstring strengthening, and carefully tolerating maximum-speed sprinting before returning to full game action.
• History: Tyson has a history of prior hamstring strains dating back to his time at Arizona State, which has prompted the Saints to take a very cautious approach with their rookie first-round pick rather than rushing him back. Head coach Kellen Moore and the medical staff are prioritizing long-term durability.

We could have traded the first round pick for more picks in 2027 and still be in the same position we are now... Will Tyson see the field this year? We have 11 more weeks to see...

Probably next week
So, you don't think they would use the 3 week practice window? Or, are you interpreting "the field" as the "practice field"?
It's crazy to me that there's no real info on his return timeline. If they don't open the practice window next week, it's reasonable to start asking serious questions as to what's going on and why the franchise isn't releasing info.
You'd have to wonder if he's going to return this year at that point.

What's the rush? Season's over with or without him.

I don't know why some people in here are acting like he's taking his time. It's not up to him. But to answer your question, it should be after the bye week but no one has said anything with confirmation.. He's already designated to return (IR-R)

For him to be ready to return after the bye week he would have had to have been running full speed for a couple of weeks now.
I haven’t heard any reports that he’s been doing that. The only thing we’ve heard is he’s making progress.

Loomis does whatever the coach says to do, this Moore’s pick.

The pick was risky…but reasonable.
It’s not the pick that bothers me. It’s the organization thinking it doesn’t even have to let the fanbase know what the status is.
Some are guessing he’s coming back next week. Some think he’s at least weeks away from being able to practice. All are guesses because no information has been released.
