Hopefully Demario, Cam, Badger for starters. Hope they can set a good example on how to be pros for the younger guys this year and then ride off into the sunset.

Possibly retiring after this year could be Cam Jordan, Demario Davis, Tyran Mathieu, Taysom Hill
Possibly last year in Saints uniform could be Trevor Penning, Chris Olave, Juwan Johnson, Alvin Kamara

AK is signed through 2026, do you think the Saints will find a trade for him or cut him after 2025? It wouldn't save them much money unless they wait until after June 1 in 2026 to cut him.

This is depressing. End of an era. Taysom, Cam, Demario. Some of my all time favorite players. I know it’s coming and they aren’t the same players anymore (except for Taysom?) but doesn’t make it easier to accept as a fan.

JT will be around a while based on ST play and DB depth.

IMO, the easy answers are Taysom, Cam, Demario & Mathieu since none of them are signed under contract after this year. All are also mid-30s, so I could see them retiring after the season too.
They have a combined $52M in dead money already accounted for on the books, which would bring the dead money to just over $100M (when you add Carr & Ram), 1/3rd of the total cap. Because of those huge cap hits, we may have to hold onto any other player that is still under contract unless they become a post 6/01 cut

I’m assuming you mean long term veterans.
I’d say this is Cam’s last season. I could also see this being Taysom’s last season.
Matheu depending on Sankers progress could be expendable after 2025 but is could also see him playing another year or two either with the Saint or someone else

yeah, pretty sure this is Cam's last year in the league... just feels like it's time, you know?
Demario, while his age says it's time, he's still productive...
Taysom, injuries could force his hand....
Mathieu, i love in black and gold, but the wheels are starting to fall off... physically, he just ain't what he was, and while his instincts for the ball are still as solid as ever, his speed and agility are clearly in decline... may still have a year left in him, but should be relegated to back up/spot duty if so
