That's going to be a tough game. Thoughts?

If the Saints don’t handily beat the Falcons, then it’s going to be a very long season. Almost every power ranking list has them dead last.

While on the surface this may seem to be the case there are two things to consider... maybe 3

1. We always seem to start slow and inevitably have one game where we sheet the bed against an inferior opponent

2. I really don't like our starters not having some game action prior to the opener...

I expect this to be a tough game but I could see us losing then running off a 13 game win streak

The Texans may be the only team that can compete with the Falcons this season ... at tanking.

The Falcons are bottoming out and getting off their monster cap hits. They won't be a rival until next season at best, but more likely 2-3 seasons.

Based on what we've seen during preseason, I can see Book struggling against Atl's defense but still being able to put up some points. But unless Drake is able to come back it should be easy for the Saints to have Adebo shadow Pitts.

I'm putting my money on the Falcons to cover the 4.5

Its a division game. We aren't blowing them out.

If the Saints can't beat this year's edition of the Falcons, the season is already over.
