30+

Only 3 games featured a 30+ scoring team last season in week 1. Offenses start slow.

This is such a bizarre board. I guess I hope the Lions win so you can be right on the internet.

I'd like for the Saints to win but I really don't see it happening.

The NFL is maybe the most volatile league from year to year. Both of these teams could make the playoffs or end up train wrecks. Enjoy the ride and try not to be so hell bent on gay message board takes.

No, we won't! Until we treat this team like a business instead of a venue to have family reunions with the older players, we will not even contend. Hit me with all the downvotes you please but there are some players that have seen their prime fade into the sunset and yet, we hail them as potential saviors.

The defense improved last year when they played bad teams towards the end of the year. They got worse at corner and linebacker this year and they are old. I don’t think they will be the worst defense in the league, but good offenses will put up points on them.

List all the old players on the roster besides the obvious rotational pre retirees we all know of.

They are 21st in the league in average age (26 years), so not as bad as they used to be but older than the median.

Godchaux and Ellis are 31. Blackmon is 28, Reid is 29. Shepherd is 32. Obviously Cam Jordan is 37, which skews the average.

Shough didn't play in a single preseason snap. Neither did the entire offense. It will show up Sunday. Use your head and not your heart.

This has nothing to do with my head or heart moron. You're one of those stuck on preseason game action. So playing a series or 2 in preseason, handing off 4 of 6 plays with 2 dump off passes is better than joint practices with other team? Get the frick out of here. Im not overating us at all. And I think Detroit is overrated. But that's the beauty of opinions, we all have 1

Now what's the total age difference between the top and bottom team? And what's the age difference between us and the top team?

The whole age argument has always been so stupid.

I don’t think the Saints matchup well but the lions are way less scary without Ben Johnson
