Punting has been an issue. It would be nice to lock that down

14 Million for a Punter???

As of the 2024-2025 NFL seasons, the average salary for an NFL punter is approximately $1.5 million to $1.6 million per year. While top-tier punters, such as Michael Dickson and Logan Cooke, earn over $3.5–$4 million annually, the majority of starting punters generally make between $2 million and $3 million per

This is retarded. Last thing I’d worry about is a punter

It’s 3.5 per year. Less if you look at guarantees

$14M over 4 years = $3.5M. They are betting he'll be a top 5 punter

no way man, a punter can be a weapon. And Kroeger last year was at the very bottom of the league

Have to see how his contract is structured, but normally the guaranteed is the # to look at.

He was PFF (take with grain of salt) 6th overall punter.

He’s also 25. Im fine with locking down one of the best punters especially since our special teams was fricking dogshit last year and our fan base bitched constantly during and after the season about how bad that unit was.

More than anyone on here…

I coukd see worrying about kickers, punters are easily replaceable.

Because the Saints have done such a great job of that the last 5 or so years?

___________________________________

Not the worst thing this team has done to get a punter.

At least we know what kind of punter he is, we know how he is in the Dome.

It takes a weapon away from the Vikings.

Certainly helps our special teams

The last Super Bowl proved how valuable special teams was into the 3 rd quarter
