That type of fight is what separates equal talent in the NFL. love it

The vision and accuracy are impressive - as is his toughness. The only question I’d have is velocity. He zipped 1-2 of those, but that velocity doesn’t seem involuntarily.
We’ll be curious to see how it translates.

Prime Drew had no inadequacies in the arm strength department lol

Yes, not sure on the velocity as well. But in the film he can throw if 50 yards in the air with ease regularly. I would guess he can throw it 60.

Throwing ducks out there. Those are mostly pick 6 in the NFL.

Dude is oozing “it”
slow your roll, those show a tough QB playing hurt, they dont show a great QB doing great QB things.
the draft highlight films showed way more of his QB skills than this video
it does highlight why he needs to work on arm strength and zip on the ball. as mentioned, those ducks he through were sure pick 6s in the NFL

Which is basically what I said, doofus

I’ve had a raging Haener since I saw it months ago.

I thought I was watching Byron Leftwich film there for a minute.

Reminiscent of Drew's last minute heroics when Purdue upset Ohio St.

Give me time stamps. Which passes are you referring to?

Like getting the ball back with ~50 seconds left on the road against a ranked team and making clutch throw after clutch throw, walking his team down the field and winning the game with 2 TD in the final 3 minutes?
ETA: Haener is so well rounded as a quarterback: timing, accuracy, footwork, rhythm, processing, touch. I’ve been watching this guy for ~2 years and seen him make pro throws game after game. Y’all harp on the arm strength like every QB has to have a cannon like Mahomes or Herbert to play QB.
Don’t be surprised if he kicks Jameis\Luton out the club and wins the backup job out of the gate. He’s plug and play.

Love seeing all those clowns crying through their dumbass masks.

True. And Drew figured out how to make it work. As did Joe Montana. They made up for it in other ways like quick releases, vision, accuracy, and studying opponents and setting up mismatches.
So it can be done.
