There's a lot to like in that film. Velocity is the only issue I see but, as others said, that can be managed if a QB is special in other areas. We drafted him low enough and he seems like a solid player and high-character guy that the Saints should consider him QB3 for now with the expectation that he'll be QB2 by next year. Having Taysom on the team gives them extra insurance to role the dice on a guy like Haener as backup, at least for a few years if Carr performs as well as expected.

I'll tell you what I saw... on all but one pass, he was staring at the receiver from the snap of the ball to the completion. Can work in college, but that don't fly in the NFL.
