I agree 100%. In the last 10 years I have gone from thinking we had a top five uni to a below average.

I agree. They can easily be top 5 if they go to these below and just match the gold to the current gold. Don't even have black pants as an option. Just those pants with 2 options for the jersey. I know that is not good for marketing, but I think it is our best look.
Ok, if you want to throw in another look, go with this as an option for the pants.

The collar is horrible. Wish the NFL would let us experiment wiht a matte black or gold chrome alternate helmet.

I have always been of the opinion that the pants should match the helmet color. That's also what's wrong with the mustard pants/gold helmet.
I do like the big-arse fleur-de-lis thought.

Agree, and the all-black look looks fricking terrible. I'm sure it's fifty-fifty, but for some reason I feel like the team plays worse in the black on black. Probably just cause I need something insane to blame on our losses though.

1) Collars need to go. No ifs, ands, or buts about it.
2) BRING BACK THE THROWBACKS PLEASE. Keep them exactly the same, but maybe try experimenting with an alternate black helmet with the big old school fleur-de-lis. I believe there is a stupid NFL rule against alternate helmets though, so idk if this could happen.
3) I personally like the all black look, as it seems to get the team jacked up, but I wouldn't hate possibly adding a gold strip to the black pants. I'd have to see the ensemble to decide, though.

The NFL decided alternate helmets are a safety issue and can no longer be used. Teams have to wear their regular helmets even when using alternate jerseys.
This is why Tampa cannot bring back Bucco Bruce anymore.

Couple things: 1) It's my understanding that the NFL won't allow alternate helmets anymore. Not sure why. I'm sure it's because they don't make money off of new helmets. Dunno.
And 2) We already tried the black pants with the wide gold stripe during the Ditka years, and it didn't look good. As you might imagine, the gold stripe didn't match any of the other golds.
It would probably look better if they went with a white/gold/white stripe type thing.
But I won't lie: I'd have no problem whatsoever having the throwbacks become our regular uni's again.

Yes I think about ever...what 3-4 months its uni thread time?
I use to like the throwbacks. But now that our gold mostly matches these things look horrible to me now. And thats important.
