Based on what? What objective evidence is there that the training staff is shitty?

They must be confident in kelemete and Allen because they had to have known it was going to be a problem when they had the draft.

I'm glad we addressed guard though, at least they'll cover some deficiencies if there are any

Clearly not the end of the world some on here are making it out to be. It sucks, but the Saints have time and options.

I really think we should. We don't need to just survive the early part of the season. We need a fast start. Stick Allen back on the practice squad, sign Mangold and leave him as a backup when Unger returns.

Hell, he won't care. He gets paid and stays in the league a little longer. And who knows, Unger's injury might be worse than everyone thinks. I'd much rather Mangold than Kelemte. Before he got hurt, Mangold was the 8th ranked center last year according to PFF. You sign him and don't have to worry about Center all year because you know you'll have either Unger or Mangold. We keep our dominant offensive line instead of it being middle tier for an important stretch of the season

Per Deuce (so you KNOW it's legit ) as of yesterday....Mangold is not ready to play himself.

Yeah I and a few others (like Gyno) have been saying that too.

So many people knee jerking and looking at a name without even knowing the situation on him or Unger.

And then expecting Mangold to play for cheap? Not gonna happen.
