Because technically it is.

7-6 all but guarantees no playoffs.

Luckily, our guys are aware the division title is in play AND the chance of never having to travel in the playoffs.

Yup. To me this is a road playoff game. It’s going to be an extremely tough game. ATL will come out like a house on fire. Need to survive the early emotion and put them to bed.

Yep. I expect them to come out swinging.

I'm a major pessimist, so take this with a grain of salt, but I'm pretty sure we're going to lose. No big deal, though. I expected to split with Atlanta all along.

If Lattimore is 100%, I'm confident he can prevent Julio Jones from going wild on us. He's still going to get his catches because he's damn good. Crawley can handle Sanu. Coleman and Freeman worry me a bit though. If they get going it might get ugly.

We will definitely need to be better on third down against ATL. We will NOT be able to have the defense on the field consistently against that offense.

We were 6-15 on third down (40%) against Carolina, I would definitely like to be a bit better. We seem to have been struggling on 3rd down this year. Which makes this season even more impressive when you factor in an 0-2 start with the consistent trouble converting 3rd downs.

I don't see us winning this one. I do see us winning the 2nd one. Don't get me wrong, I would love nothing more than to sweep both Carolina and Atlanta but something just doesn't feel right this week. I had a ton of confidence in the Carolina game last week not so much this week. I really hope I'm wrong.

This is a game where we need to score early and often...they are going to come out firing.

By no means am I over confident, but come on guys?! Who has to win this game? Who has all of the pressure? Who has the QB that falls apart in the second half when it really matters? Who's fans go crazy in the second half because their team can't finish games? Looking at all of the numbers and what's at stake here, both teams will be ready and up for this game. The Falcons will need to be 10+ points ahead at half time to win this game. That means we probably have 2 turnovers and the Falcons playing a near perfect half. Can happen, but don't see it. We win this game in the forth qtr. with a go ahead score, followed by a key Falcons turnover.

If there is one team that hates the damn dirty birds it's the saints. It's time to twist the knife. In Week 16 when they come to New Orleans we can hang the 2017 NFC South Champion banner (we could have it locked up by then). I would love to make a big deal out of it while they are on the field. F them.

I can see Crawley and safety help on Jones this week and have Lattimore cover Sanu. If Lattimore was 100% then yeah, he would be on Jones but I'm not comfortable with that at this point.

It's honestly such a tragedy because this offense has been money on 3rd down for a while. It sucks that when the defense finally get's it together we can't convert 3rds on offense

I see this also. It's the right move. Crawley has experience taking out Julio, and he's also a little taller and thicker.

Sanu is smaller and shiftier, which Lattimore is also. I expect the plan will be for him to erase Sanu, and let Crawley cover Julio with safety help. Just try to keep him in front of them. Yes they'll probably give up some catches over there but that's OK.

You wouldn't want to sit him one more game? Don't let him rush through the injury process.

I already hate our chances playing on such a short week.

Yep. We're getting their best shot like we got when we played Washington.

They might run trick plays, fake punts, all kinds of shite. They HAVE to have this game and we better be ready

We need this game more to maintain a lead than win the division, and to keep our seeding standing. Granted, it gets that much harder to do all of that if we do drop it, but it's not the end of the world.
