man o man is he starting to look like a bust. Smh The guy can't stay healthy for nothing just like Davenport. Smh I think they should trade him, but I don't know if they'll get much for him since he hasn't done anything in his Saints career except show some promise like he did at the start of training camp. Smh

We can replace him we Foskey so we can all enjoy another high draft pick DE that underachieves. Maybe he can at least play 100+ snaps a season without getting a toe.

Say what you want about DA but his drafting is light years ahead of Sean’s. So nice to finally make the obvious good choices instead of trying to outsmart the room.

Verdict is still out Penning. So lets not rush to thinking DA is that much better. Olave and Bresee look like ballers though.

Why cut a guy if you don't have to?

At least you can IR him and not worry about the roster spot being a week to week thing because toe turf is one of those lingering injuries so it's actually better he needs surgery rather than taking up a roster spot and he would be doubtful for weeks

I agree. But it happens to players on all teams, we’re just much more attuned to it when it happens to our guys.

Get the heck out of here with logic and stuff.

I just don’t like when people criticize the organization for not having a crystal ball.

If I have a critique of the Saints where an injury is concerned, it is that they did seem to have a period where they were making exactly the wrong calls on players' surgery, rehab (post or instead of surgery), and evaluations. To the point that they were reported to have had a reputation amongst players for being one of the worst in the NFL.

It's not a terrible strategy unless you start reaching for guys, which is the problem with Turner and Davenport. 3 first rounders spent and 1/3-1/2 games missed and no 2nd contract.

This is it. I don't think people hate Turner the person, it's the FO for their draft strategy.

From 2018-2023 (6 seasons of first rounders and I'm excluding the pick for Payton) we have Davenport, Ruiz, Olave, Turner, and Penning.

Is 50% a good mark for first round contributions?

Is it 50% even? Olave is a star. Ruiz is solid but nothing great(you expect more from a guard drafted that high). Penning is a question mark and has issues of health as well. I honestly would put it max at 40%.

That fricking sucks. Turner and Davenport are good both dudes. People don't realize the shite Davenport played through while he was here and Turner just can't catch a break with the freak injuries.

Granderson was undrafted because he raped someone (allegedly)

He was not accused of rape. Not that what he did was right, it just wasn't rape.

quote:

According to Potter, Granderson made unwanted contact with the two women in November 2018 as the three slept at an off-campus apartment near the University of Wyoming. One woman told police he touched her breast multiple times and also put his hand down her pants, and the second woman said he put his hand in her pants and touched her genitals and buttocks.

Not you’re saying your wrong but that whole post doesnt make it a lot better. He’s basically accused of sexual assault which isn’t rape but not a whole lot better.
