Really bad decision. I'd call Mark Roman right this minute. Draft Hooker in the second and put Taysom back at QB until Hooker is fully recovered.

Lol, Greg. I'm getting old. But you know what I mean. If it weren't for him Lamar Jackson might be in the XFL or bagging groceries. He's an innovator and can do more with less. Put Taysom at QB in that offense this season and we'd be in the playoffs if he could stay healthy. Hooker and Taysom are insurance for each other.

Literally the other way around. Just look at their offense since Lamar went down.

Same. I’m done after almost 20yrs. frick this

I thought 10,000 was generous based on NOLA crime and vehicle break ins. I wouldn"t have dreamed they'd be so stupid to bring Carmichael back (who has been exposed as a water carrier for Payton). Maybe 15,000 non renewals will be the number.

Meh.

I don't think Pete is the worst OC in the world - there were points this season where everything looked great. Also points where it looked absolutely fricking arse.

I think my biggest thing is that I'm just ready to be done with the Payton offense. I don't really like the fact that we have this complicated offense that has been developed over 17 years or whatever. Vets have routinely come in and said it's hard to learn it all. There are SO many teams around the league running simple systems and producing results. I want that. And I just don't think we're gonna get it with a Payton disciple at OC.

The GOOD news is that this team is set up to fail in 2023, positioning us well to:

-Fire entire coaching staff
-Have a top draft pick for our next HC
-Be a little bit closer to the light at the end of the tunnel with the cap

They must be fully committed to tanking in 2023. Actually that’s the best decision.

No one tanks entire seasons in the NFL. Not when they can lose their jobs. DA will absolutely lose his job if we have a bad record next year.

And a good tanking it is. So many were wanting it but seem absent.

Players don't tank. Coaches don't tank. Organizations do tank. Texans organization has definitely tanked the last two years. Wasn't an accident the Colts fired their coach on the way to a mediocre season and brought in a TV commentator to get them off the retread QB treadmill.

Unless we start trading people off like crazy the roster is probably too good for a complete bottom out but an uninspiring return from basically the same staff with a similar crappy QB situation will get us a top 10 pick.

Pete Carmichael reiterates his desire to quit the job of Saints OC. Saints front office doubles down, and forces him to stay on the job. Loomis is heard lecturing him, "If at first you don't succeed, try, try again."

100% giving up my season tickets. Done. Beyond done.

Gayle and Loomis don't care about a good product for the Saints anymore, so why should we?

Lol so basically it’s just “let’s roll out EXACTLY the same thing that proved to be dog shite last year and hope for the best”

The only track record Pete has is holding Sean’s jock. All the dude did was hold a darn clipboard

Don't worry they will be gone after 2023 season. Why waste money now when we will be hiring a New HC next year. He will replace all them. Lol

Hilarious. This garbage fire will burn until Gayle's in the ground and the Pope takes the reins. Isn't the Catholic Church willed the team?

At this point I'd have more faith in his personnel decisions.
