The saints have been targeting the week 9 tilt vs the ravens as his professional debut.

We have some positive momentum. Can you imagine if we get penning in there. That dude has a bad attitude and wants to hit somebody. Can you imagine our run game with a road grader like him?

So where does he play? OLine has been gelling and looking good. It’s a good problem to have.

Keep the same offensive line and work him in as an extra tackle on those Taysom packages.

I wonder if he will supplant Hurst though. Hurst started out terribly but he played very well today. I think Hurst is a much better guard I’d love to have him take Peat’s spot at LG and put Penning at LT. Let him have a few series at LT and put him as the extra OL we use in run sets with Taysom.

Imo they won't do that. I think you work penning in over the off season.

No way they will throw Penning into the fire as soon as he returns. They will work him in slowly. He is still unproven.

make him the tight end-eligible tackle leading the way for Taysom on QB power

Penning makes our offensive strength stronger. Running the ball.

I love Penning.

Ready to see him on the field destroying the enemy!

They will likely ease him in there. The o-line has been pretty consistent and Penning still has a bit of a learning curve to deal with particularly with pass blocking. It would be great to have him available down the stretch.
