Problem is that we are only going to keep 5 or 6 (likely 6 this year) because 7 pulls away too much from somewhere else, and we have a few guys that have looked good at WR. Bell was another that was really showing out as well, but we'll have to see what his injury today was.
Currently I think the locks are Olave, Tyson, Vele, and Brown, with only 1 or 2 open spots, and I think they'd lean towards Lance as one of them unless someone like Means or Bell proves undeniable in preason. So you have maybe 1 spot for a bunched up back end.

I look at the top four or five WRs and wonder do we need a vet?

That's a good problem to have. Polk was for sure making the team before he retired. He had speed and could play inside and outside.
They drafted and brought in a bunch of guys. Let the cream rise to the top. This could be a year where a guy like Lance gets cut if he doesn't show enough.

As I said last year about rattler and shough(at the time) both are better than a 2 but not a true 1. Hopefully shough continues to prove me wrong about him. Rattler though is still in that same spot
