Day 7 of #Saints camp in the books ... some quick notes:
- Attendance: No Alvin Kamara, likely a rest day. Kendre Miller, Jeremiah Wright and Christen Miller did not participate. Ronnie Bell left early with a trainer
- Easily the best day for the offense. The first set of 11-on-11 was the cleanest I've seen that group look. Very efficient and guys look to be settling in.
- The legend of Barion Brown continues to build. The final play of the day was a 46-yard bomb from Rattler to Brown in a 2-minute drill to win the game. Pretty incredible throw with Brown running away from Yiadom
- First team offense was moving it well in the 2-minute situation (1:40 left, down 4 with one TO starting at the 35). Frustrating end with a sack and a missed heave to the end zone as time expired
- Kool-Aid McKinstry also had a wild interception in the back of the end zone. Shough was throwing the ball away but McKinstry was able to get a finger on it and tip it to himself.
- Bub Means continues to make plays
- Kaden Elliss is in the backfield constantly and always seems to be around the ball
- Thought Devin Neal, Audric Estime and Ty Chandler all had good days. The depth RB competition is tight and availability definitely matters
- Charlie Smyth had a rough day indoors. Missed three consecutive kicks (39, 44, 51) with makes from PAT, 39 and 51. Leaving the door wide open for Tanner Brown (who has also had a couple short misses).

They are going to go after one right around the cut day. Either someone caught in the numbers or a minor trade like they have done in the past so the guy doesn't go on waivers

Rattler cant do anything when the lights are on in an actual game.

in fairness to Rattler he got some of the toughest games on the schedule last season breaking in a new head coach and entirely new offense
on the flip side, they may have won the division had Shough started from day 1

Facts:
NOF has been long been dick riding Rattler for good reasons and not good reasons.
NOF was one of the last one's to come around to Shough and admit his talents.
NOF was easily lured back to dick riding Rattler again cause that was always their primary motive.
Rattler has had some better days in camp recent. shite was more silent early in camp when Rattler was having some not so good days.
2 good qb's are always better than no good qb's.

Rattler also isn’t getting ANY reps with the 1s.
He’s looked good but he’s going against the 2s….so he should. From what I’ve seen the 1st team offense can move the ball pretty well. It’s just finishing in the redzone, which was a problem last year. Gotta get better there if they wanna win the division

We're not choosing from two quarterbacks. One is a starter. The other is a backup. It is set in stone and it should be this way

Great throw don’t get me wrong but seems the DB could have put more effort on that.
