We need a corner and wide receiver. Fill two spots with one pick.

Except he will most likely have to pick one position to play.

Whichever team drafts this player is not getting a dual player. If his agent is smart, he will have him focus on being a WR. They have received the most money outside of QBs. DBs don't get that kind of money. No way would I have a player play both and only getting paid for one position.

He wants to play receiver but I think his best position is corner.

Between that and his ties to Deion and I wouldn’t want to deal with the headache.

Best use of him is to play corner full time and then come in as a 4th receiver in some obvious passing downs to not overuse him.

He wants to play both. They’ve said this a hundred times

And from the teams perspective having both WR/CB go down at once aint great either. Its a bad move all the way around

Full time corner with 10-20 snaps at wr is the ideal situation.

Can't depend on him being db1 if he's not on the field most of the game and being full time wr

What do you expect to have to give up to get to the #1 over all spot?

And is this what teams who should be rebuilding typically do?

I mean anyone who has a high enough pick to trade to #1 overall is probably rebuilding to some extent. Look at panthers and young. Didn’t work out for them

Doesn’t matter what he wants. A nfl player cant play every snap every game on both sides. He wouldn’t last very long.

Yeah. No way would his agent want him to play both WR and DB. He can get away with that in college but not in NFL. Stick to one position and be the best at it and get paid.

He’s a corner in the NFL. Won’t play both ways and if he does it will be a handful of snaps per game, nothing much.

I’d feel a lot better if they were trading up for a franchise QB in this scenario even though I’m not some on any of these QBs being franchises QBs.

Hunter should be a legit #1 CB with a few WR plays designed for him. And the Saint could most certainly use a #1 lock down CB and let Taylor move back to the Nickel where he’s shown to be best but at what cost for Hunter.

Also, we’re talking about all this without really knowing what the 25 Saints defense is going to look like and how the pieces fit. At least I don’t but I’m borderline retard anyway. So.

He's not playing both on a regular basis in the NFL like he did in college.

Many can't even play every play on one side. The body has its limits.

This idea that he's going to come into this league playing full time WR and CB is silly. I think the team will work a few offensive plays for him here and there, but he's going to be a fulltime CB

i think you are diminishing the impact and value that a full time cb and also can contribute a dynamic 15-20 snap WR skill set.
