I'm going underdog all the way and rooting for the Bengals.

ETA:

Redskins for the NFC side... I spent my early childhood in Woodbridge outside of DC so it's an easy choice for me.

I will root for Peyton first. I don't think that his doing well diminishes Brees at all. And he's a local boy so I always like to see him do well. I don't have a huge problem with Eli, but he won last year. I hope someone else gets a shot.

Other than that I don't really care between the four that you listed. I just don't want it to be atlanta, san fran, or new england most of all.

I'd have to say Denver. Mainly bcs I've always respected Manning and he was a stud for me in FF this year.

Nothing against Houston either.

yeah, it is. I'll be pulling for them but of the three rookies who are balling out this year, I think Russell Wilson has the most realistic chance to go all the way. Seattle has the toughest defense. It would just be hard to imagine a team with a rookie beating out teams with Peyton Manning, Tom Brady, and Aaron Rodgers for the title.

Seattle did beat Green Bay and New England earlier this year though but that was on their home field.

Edit: green bay was screwed by the hack refs in seattle earlier this year.

i hate Houston for one simple reason: My best friend. He grew up in Houston, and he was talking all this shite in 2002 or whenever Houston got the franchise, saying that the Texans would be a super bowl contender within 3 years of its formation because Texas is so awesome. blah blah blah. Ever since then, I never root for them. I was pissed when they finally got a winning season a couple years ago.

I don't want any team that doesn't have a super bowl already to win it. IMO, our trophy diminishes the more teams that join the fraternity of superbowl champions. So that rules out Seattle, Houston, Falcons, and Cincy. Like i would ever pull for Falcons anyway.

On the other hand, frick the 49ers, Cowboys, Giants, Green Bay, and Patriots cuz they have enough.

That leaves Baltimore, Indy, Denver, and Washington.

I prefer the winner to be an AFC team, so that leaves Baltimore, Indy, and Denver. Washington wont win anyway.

Indy will not win either.

Although i like Peyton, i dont want him having more than Brees. So that leaves the Ravens.

Baltimore, i dont really care about one way or the other; Although i hate all Harbaughs. so they should win.

If i wasnt such a selfish and petty person, I would root for the Bengals. But thats life.

I can't wait for the Falcons to win the Super Bowl in New Orleans. I'll forever correct anyone that calls it the superdome with "oh, you mean that place where the Falcons won the Super Bowl?".

...

At least that's how it happens in my dreams!

ETA: I wouldn't mind seeing Seattle vs. Houston. Just something refreshing. It gets boring to watch GB vs. NE (or teams that are considered historical powerhouses)

2) 49ers
I don't hate the 49ers. I actually like the way their team is built. Not a fan of Harbough, but he is a good coach. I hate how we got knocked out by them last year, but we should have been able to stop Vernon Davis. That's our fault, not theirs. Even when we were in the same division, I hated them, but had respect for them. Besides TO and Dieon Sanders, I haven't hated anyone personally on that team. And Ricky Jackson played for them.

Same can be said about Seattle and the M Lynch run. We stop him and we win.
