At least Taysom is actually contributing to the offense.

Kamara is getting top 3 RB pay to have 4 TD's a year.

Loomis #1 in some posters hearts

Care to point out the posters that still hold Loomis in such high regard? Many have basically said why bother wishing to replace him because he's untouchable. But I have not seen too many people defending him these past 1-2 years.

Also, would Russel Wilson be considered the 2nd worst contract (for Denver) and also the best value contract (for Pitt) in the league?

But a guy like Kyler Murray isn't even on the fricking list?

I wasn't a huge believer in Murray either but this is a case of hindsight is 20/20. At one point Kyler Murray was putting up video game numbers. I can't blame the Cardinals for taking a chance on someone with that much potential.

The saints on the other hand willingly invested in mediocrity. The worst part is we paid him top dollar when there were hardly any (zero) other suitors.

He’s also only 26. He had a bad injury in late 22 that cost him most of 23. Certainly possible for him to be better this year.

Wrong. Taysom is a very valuable commodity

He’s a part time gadget player

Taysom is the biggest offensive threat on the Saints entire roster. If he had been properly used by the staff, he would be an NFL household name.

This list should be renamed "Top 10 Players we don't like so we will declare their contract bad because we don't like the player"

Ramcyzk isn't on the list?

He was playing like a future first-ballot hall of famer prior to that. Not to mention he was being plugged in holes all along the offensive line his first 4 years. Hell, while he was playing LT when Armstead was perpetually hurt, wasn't he in the top 5 on PFF while doing so? The contract was earned, the injury situation is just bad luck and I really don't mind that he got paid. What are contracts if not assurance for guys who have proven themselves in a physical sport?

Taysom is paid what he's paid because he saves us 3-4 roster spots because of his versatility. Get rid of him and then you'll need to sign a RB, TE, WR, and QB as replacements.

He likely saves us money.

Who has accounted for 26% of our rush yards and 23% of our offensive TDs the last two seasons

That’s a neat gadget

That’s pretty sad actually

Also begs the question why in the hell did the sign Jamal Williams who got a contract because he scored a bunch of TDs

And then not use him in the redzone.

His last year in Det, he has 17 TDs. 10 from 1 yard out, 3 from 2 yards out, 1 from 4 yards out, 1 from 7 yards out, 1 from 13 yards out, & 1 from 51 yards out. He also had 45 carries within the 10-yard line.

The elite offensive mind of Pete Carmichael gives him 7 rushes (really only 6) from inside the 10-yard line. And his only TD on the season was the infamous fake kneel down from 1 yard out.

Not to defend Carmichael, but Williams never had more the 4 TDs outside of 2022. He caught lightening in a bottle and Detroit immediately opted not to keep him, that should be rather telling

Carr isn't even a "bad" contract and neither is Taysom.

Hot take: CDA and Pete used Taysom more effectively last season than CSP ever did. Too bad his fumble in Atlanta cost us the division.

Forgive my memory but wasn’t Junior’s deal actually not quite that bad at the time? He was a team captain. Just no way to foresee his issues off the field.

Maybe I am forgetting something. That’s a hell of a throwback post. I haven’t thought about Galette in ages
