Just think who would you rather play for a hall of farmer quaterback with a young dominant defense that fits your scheme or a quarterback that can hasn't been in the league that long and hasn't won a Super Bowl. Yea Rams has a good defense but ours is just as good possibly better. Drew is what makes this a Super Bowl team he is a winning quaterback who has won before so I would pick him over anyone

I meant the saints diffrence from the Rams if you want the ring Drew Bree's is a clear choice of who you want on your team. defense isn't the only thing that wins games, it's a great quaterback and we have one.

If you look at only the starters for last year (at the start of the season), we are closer, but still older.

Starter Age

And if you take Brees out of the equation we are younger. That is what I said before. Younger without Brees. Also Strief was replaced by Ram.

I think he ends up picking the Rams because of the market and potential to earn more money outside of football. That team, though, is one Todd Gurley blown knee from being a very mediocre squad. He was the offense.

Just losing Chase Daniel, Kuhn, Strief, & Rafael Bush should bring our average way down.

Good point.

Regardless, even last year we were younger if you don't take Brees into account. That is what I was saying before. By saying younger you mean QB and that is all. Which I don't understand how anybody could say Goff is a plus to Suh over Brees. Suh isn't trying to play there 10 years.

He fits perfectly in our defense. We basically have a reserved spot for him, & it's the exact kind of way that he likes to play

He fits perfectly on the Rams D too. Philips gap scheme mimics a 4-3 and all of those guys can move around on the line

As for the Brees vs Goff, the Rams were the #1 scoring offense in the league.

Goff sat out a game otherwise he’d be a 4K passer as a 23 y/o. More TDs, better TD:INT ratio, same y/a, league leader in yards per completion, an 100.5 rating right behind Drew’s 103.9 etc

He’s not better than drew but he was damn good last year with an offensive minded HC. Very similar to what we have. They will run that division until SF gets to where they should be

Our fans are delusional. Both can be good. Whoever he picks is a good spot for success and wealth.

According to RosterResource, we're still older (includes all 75 players currently signed, not just the top 53).

Saints Average Age: 26.55067
Rams Average Age: 25.86271

We're older, but I seriously doubt Suh is worried about which team is younger. I think he's going to be more concerned about chance to win now and scheme fit (and $).

I am going off of actual starters man. I don't care how old the training camp bodies and back of the bench is. I took the starters age and removed Brees and Goff. But I went off of 2017 starters. My point was we are young too.

The point is, this is not an argument in our favor if you think Suh is looking for the younger team.

Again, I doubt Suh really cares much about it so it's likely a moot point.

Exactly. That is why I brought it up. The young thing has came up so much in this thread.

I don't know where he goes. He has two good choices.
Was just pointing out that one thing.

I get that their 3-4 plays like a 4-3 but that’s an extreme risk having an older Robert Quinn basically playing DE along with Donald, who is agile but is still slow for a DE while Suh and Brockers play inside

Also wouldn’t get why the Rams wasted money on Easely

After the Suh ordeal is over...we'll all be talking about free agent WR's.

Probably not for a long as I expect to see a flurry of deals after from a variety of teams after Suh signs.

It certainly feels like a large portion of the league is in a holding pattern until that deal gets done.
