We can use another receiver, we don’t desparstely need one. Lewis made some nice plays when he was on the field field and ginn balled out

I would rather snag a receiving tight end

What's the "Power Ranking" and why is Lattimore 131st in it?

Outside a few spots here and there, that defense needs a few more players. Particularly, DT, LB and RCB if Robinson is going in the slot.

Call me crazy but I don’t think Crawley can be trusted.

Definitely missed that last year in our offense. I had high hopes for Hill when JG went to Seattle but he isn't playing up to his athletic abilities based on his measurables. Fleener is the classic looks like Tarzan, plays like Jane.

This is where I see the Saints offense. Despite the lack of high profile receivers besides Thomas the Saints offense was ranked among the leaders again.

1) Snead is still in the mix until he isn't.

2) The Saints issues on offense are not receiver related.

A) Drew Brees is Accurate.
B) The Saints receivers dropped the fewest passes.

Which means Brees delivered and they caught it.

So what stops the Saints offense.

1) Turnovers
2) Penalties that force---Down and distance
3) Play Calls

What I mean on (3) is the fact that often Brees and the Saints will choose the split the yardage.

2 and 10---A lot of runs that yield 3 and 8 or 3rd and 7.

I disagree. We couldn't convert 3rd downs at all and outside of MT13, no receiver could create separation from their defenders. No one knows how to find holes in zones and get open on 3rd down.

We are stupid thin at WR and there's no denying that.

Wish I could see the world through Black and Gold colored glasses, but unfortunately I am grounded in reality

I see that as more of the routes that we choose to run.

On a 2nd and 10, the Saints line up 3 wide and run one guy on a 12-15 yard that is covered and they run 2 guys on 3-5 yard dump routes. Requiring us to come back and make another third down throw.

This offense is at its best when the go against their own pattern. 1st and 10---work a route 15-20 yards down field.

2nd and 4---throw for 15.

2nd and 1---go deep

I have often said the reason that Brees throws for 70% is the fact that he is constantly making 4 yard throws on 1st and 10 or 2nd and 10.
