Never going to be a star but can step in and start at WR2 for a few weeks and be just fine. Good news is there will be guys we can pick up that don’t make other rosters and I expect that will no doubt happen with the injury to Tyson. I’m sitting him until after Paris just to be safe if I’m CKM. That allows us to short term IR him and open a roster spot.

There were plenty of vets out there that the saints could've brought in.

I think they really like Lance and brown. Obviously they were happy with Tyson playing a huge role.

Everything would've been fine if Tyson didn't get hurt. Maybe they bring in a vet but it seems like they are ready to role with the young guys.

Polk was actually a sizeable loss with Tyson now being out. Polk had some of the same speed and yac as Tyson.

Optimistic about both as well, definitely will have to see how they hold up once they take a few full speed shots from starters but they have the skills.

Olave and Vele are ok as 1/2, plus J. Johnson.

I think we really need to work on getting Etienne & AK the ball often on routes and it will really open up the field for the receivers.

Also agree that they'll probably hold him until after the bye week

Also remember we have 3 TE that are all athletic and good pass catchers so a few more 2 TE sets could help compensate. I think Oscar Delp is going to see the field pretty early in some form on offense with Juwan Johnson still starting and Noah Fant around too.

The report said he could miss as long as two months….after the bye would be three full months from the injury. You sit him an extra month just to be safe?

Saints are still loaded at WR, which is crazy to say. #7 will get bumped and see what's up.

When players get repetitive HS injuries it can be a little frickey. Add to the fact that he’s adapting to the nfl and I think anywhere between 2 months and late season is possible. They’re going to treat this with kid gloves and it wouldn’t shock me if they have him go do some therapy outside of the usual local suspects who really dig into his biomechanics a bit more.

Terrance Copper

You almost need a Drew Brees at QB in order to have a Terrance Copper. I remember when we had a bunch of pass catchers out a Drew just kept putting up numbers with Copper and whoever else was out there

We will be fine. Brown will start at WR3. Vele at 2 and trickle in Lance because he needs time to develop. Multiple pass catching TEs and 2 guys out of the backfield that do well in space that can both catch and run. This draft and free agency is underrated in my opinion. We were prepared for this and the next man up mentality wins championships.
