I liked how they looked but you have to keep perspective. Carolina might be the worst team in the NFC and maybe even the NFL.

Dome had the most energy in it since 2018. Guys dancing on the sideline. Definitely felt different

How well do good teams play against the really bad teams?
We did everything right today and deserve to celebrate
The next 4 weeks are tough but with this OC maybe we compete.

Myers said the only other time we scored 40 in week 1 in franchise history was 2009 (45-27 in the Superdome vs. the Lions)

They're bought in and you can tell they like playing together.

They definitely had some energy and didn’t look like they were just going through motions. Let’s see how they look against more legit teams

i was at ballfield for a tourney

missed game

how was playcalling? did we use whole field? inside/outside runs?

deep throws or dink and dunk or both?

sounds like D was great.

this is the biggest thing. They seem to play real well together. Feed off of each other and such.

Also, the playmakers seem to be pretty evenly distributed throughout the entire team. I.e. you don't have to depend on one side of the ball to be elite every week

Panthers may not win a game this year.

It was a great mix of it all. Run blocking was unbelievable.

They played awesome today but Bryce Young CANNOT make presnap reads vs the blitz. The Panthers O-Line cannot pick up the blitz, run block or pass protect either so I don't want to overreact but the defense did what they should do against an inferior opponent.

I'm unsure about that one but let's see what we do with Dallas next. Tampa looked equally as good against a bad team today.

I think they are the worst, but...scoring on 9 straight possessions against NFL players is impressive, full stop.

I agree it felt refreshing watching the offense for the first time in a very long time.

I'm excited to see how it goes, Carolina is terrible though so I'm not going too crazy with any expectations yet for the season.

Carolina's offense is terrible but their defense is pretty decent. Considering what our offense did to them, I'm optimistic about the season
