I feel like a really good compliment to Thomas is a field-stretching player.

This...why replace Cooks with a slot receiver? Landry isn't a deep threat guy, he's just a possession WR.

they need to be able to get chunks of yards downfield to keep the screen open.

This is definitely not Jarvis Landry.

lock-down corner to put opposite of Lattimore

We already have one of those in Crawley. If you don't believe it, check the PFF stats.

People who don't pay close attention are always going to be ragging on whatever CB is opposite Lattimore, because QBs are always going to go their way. Crawley has been really good, but Lattimore has been excellent. If you're the QB I think you'd rather throw at the "really good"

What if we suddenly grabbed Jimmy Graham? I'm on board with Graham before Jarvis, personally.

We already have Ginn as our deep threat guy. He may not be as sure handed as Cooks, but he's just as fast.

Pete Carroll said "We are NOT trading Jimmy Graham!" ... so I really doubt they'd trade him. Would really disgruntle the players I imagine.

Not after the last game Graham just had. Also I read that he and Russel Wilson are best friends so he's really not going anywhere.

Coaches often say things that are the opposite of what happens. I tend to ignore anything that they say regarding player trades or job changes.

I thought about quoting this stat too, but looked it up and he had 12.1 last year

I think it's a little different to say nothing or to beat around the bush, but to say it like he did is to me a for sure "not gonna happen"

i just don't see the Saints wanting to shell out a 12 mill a year contract for a slot WR when they have snead locked up as a RFA next year and many other needs to address.

It was 10.5 per catch for 14 games

30ypc on 7 catches in back to back games

He is what he is at this point. Slow footed slot WR that is a niche player

I think they would have moved JG for OL help but now that they've addressed that, they have no reason to

He's talking about the "price" of the picks, and then needing sign him to a big deal.

So am i genius. A WR that will be a FA in 8 games isnt worth higher than a 5th probably. The contract is as important as the skill.
