People that try to downplay sexual assault allegations are one thing. To be indifferent to child molestation charges and potential cover up because you don't want it to interfere with your football is reprehensible.

If current ownership actively participated in a cover-up I would be done with the team unless new ownership was established.

It’s a very serious issue. I guess I’m wanting to hear from people that are actually financially invested in the Saints
How? PR consulting?

I'd like to see some of these court filings before I start panicking.

I don’t get it.
As it reads, the Saints are complicit in a cover up of pedophilia
I mean this is the AP. They obviously aren’t fricking around
Bensel’s original comments were to play it down. And they answer with this, pretty much exposing him as a liar. I’m not sure they go down this road if they don’t have ammo

how is his post dumb? he isn't melting. he is stating the obvious. which is, if these allegations are true there is gonna be major consequences and could easily make the franchise unravel.
are y'all really this dense?
I feel this may go away on the Saints side, but if it doesn't. look out.

The ace journalists at the AP don't even bother to name the attorneys they quote over and over. This isn't exactly Woodward and Bernstein. Until the emails are actually produced we won't know anything decisive.

Rondo the saints & the culture surrounding the team has been ingrained in me for decades now. This hurts.
And the potential fallout, when I think about it, has me even more uneasy.
I know things change drastically after Drew retires. But a lot more could be in jeopardy now

I have been saying the same. I will not renew if we were covering up and allowing the HORRIBLE WAYS to continue.
HOW IRONIC = Saints + Catholic SEX Abuse Scandal.

Some of these posts are trying to make it out that the Saints were helping cover stuff up decades ago when it was actually occurring.

I was raised Catholic & had 14 years of catholic school rearing, Chad.
