Our run game is atrocious. It has been nearly all year. We're 3rd to last in rushing at 92 yards a game. Minus our QB production of rushing, we're down to 72 ypg with more traditional running backs of which includes Taysom's production of semi qb type role.

Kendre showed some of the best flashes of the year but continues to not stay healthy. We have him 1 more year on the cheap. Nothing to lose to keep.

I don't care much about Kamara. Not sure if we june 1st cut him, if he has any trade value or what he adds but he cannot be considered our bellcow for next year. He's never ever been that anyways.

Neal has been ok and has some promise. Not sure if he's shown enough to warrant passing up on a rb in the upper half of the draft.

Regardless, the O Line must improve. We must upgrade either 2 or 3 of the positions on the line this year and revamp who we are starting in the trenches. We need more ball control and offensive consistency next year.

I looked the other day, the saints havent drafted a true guard in like 15 years. Found that odd.

And we have decent RB depth but none of the guys we have are the answer

This is a reason why even though we’ve invested so much in OL, you may still take a tackle, move Fuaga to guard and sign a guard in free agency.

Kamara has a year left and you probably try to restructure that. Neal is a solid #2 or 3. Kendre is unreliable but cheap. I’d try to draft a RB in mid rds and hope they can replace Kamara in the future

I see no reason to keep Miller past this season.

1) He can't stay on the field.
2) this coaching staff is not vested in him.
3) It won't cost much more if anything to replace him.

Neal has shown enough that I'd be comfortable with him as a RB2.

We need 2 guards and a long look at the center position. One of the guard spots has to be addressed in FA and the other can be drafted or a FA as well. We HAVE to fix that. Center, it’s hard to tell with how bad our guards are.

I think our tackles will look much better once those 3 positions can make a spot for Shough to step up in.

If properly addressed, should not survive preseason. Get a rookie in to hopefully be the #1. Then you have AK for at least 1 more year and Neal signed for the next 3 years.
Have Miller get healthy in the offseason. An extra body and to show that he’s full strength in TC & preseason. Then try to move him before the season starts.

No guarantees in his contract, so the cap hit to trade/cut would drop from $1.8M to $278k. And you clear the roster spot to run with draft pick, AK & Neal.

As much as we all might hate it, we may have to roll with Ruiz for another year. I just don’t see them investing FA AND draft in Guard this year. I think they go after a legit G via trade or FA, even if it’s a stop gap like Bitonio or Teller.

This is also a really good RB free agent class. I’m honestly not that impressed with this RB draft class outside of Love. Even Love doesn’t seem like the caliber of player that Bijan was and I still like him. Just much later than where he’s being mocked. I’d rather then tackle Guard and RB in FA and see them take a WR round 1 and maybe DL in Round 2

I’m just not at all about paying a mid to late mid 20s running back a free agency contract when you can get them for so cheap in their best, most explosive years.

He costs nothing

I think we may few to none vets in the RB room. AK and Mr Injured may not be back. Worth a look in FAs. I like Neal and Estime coming back but thats about it.

There’s a lot of meh in this RB draft class. There’s several RBs in their early 20s that you can sign to 3-4 year deals and cut bait before they turn 30.

Sean Tucker would be a nice RFA pick up in off-season.

In our last 7 years we’ve spent 4 first round draft picks on the OL. Our scouting team should be fired. This is exactly how you frick up a team. You can’t whiff on this many first round draft picks.

I looked at this list after wicked’s post and he’s far and away who I’d want. I’ve never seen the guy play poorly. Legit looks like one of the best players on the field whenever he’s in.

I’d prefer to sign someone like Allgeier and draft one one late then spend an early round pick on one.

Sough needs a run game despertly.

If he is to survive the season.

A strong run game will make him better.

Going in the right direction, finally, but lotta needs. Edge, LG, WR should take priority in draft though.
